Heath Herring has just left the tournament in very unlucky fashion. We heard he had and got two callers after he decided to raise. On a flop Herring got his 8,500 chips into the middle and was up against . The turn was a blank but unfortunately the river brought out another jack. This ended the former UFC fighters tournament.
We joined the action on fourth street on a board of , Brandon Cantu checked from middle position and Stephen Chidwick bet 3,300 from the cutoff. Cantu asked the dealer for a count and then asked Chidwick for a look at his stack before eventually making the call. The river card was the and Cantu checked once more, but this time Chidwick also checked. Cantu flipped over for trips and Chidwick mucked his hand.
Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso is looking different today. Gone is the trademark baseball cap and dark shades and instead we have hair and eyes. So let's just say she is looking - different-good - if you get our drift.
Rousso opened up the action from first position with a 1,000 bet and there were two callers - both from early position.
Flop:
"How many players are in the hand?" Asked Rousso.
The dealer confirmed it was three and Rousso tapped the felt. The player in the next position also checked before Deepak Bhatti bet 1,850 and both players folded. Bhatti scraped in the pot and now has a 60,000 stack. Rousso has 23,000.
Jean Robert Bellande raised to 1,025 in the hijack seat and Scott Baumstein called on the button. The action checked through to the turn on a board of and Bellande took down the pot with a 2,500 bet.
From the hijack seat, Matt Lawrence raised to 600. Action folded to two-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner Jason Mercier in the big blind and he three-bet to 1,725. Lawrence called and the flop came down . Mercier fired 1,250 and Lawrence made the call.
Fourth street was the and paired the board. Mercier continued his aggression with a bet of 2,375. Lawrence got the count, then put in the chips to see the river.
The completed the board and Mercier checked. Lawrence took a few seconds and then checked behind.
"King high," said Mercier.
Lawrence tabled the for aces and fours and won the pot. Mercier didn't show.
For those of you unfamiliar with Lawrence, he has two WSOP cashes on record and over $400,000 in live tournament earnings. The largest score of his career came from a second-place in the 2010 Venetian Deep Stack Main Event for $78,698. His second largest score came from a WSOP Circuit ring win in 2010 at Harrah's St. Louis for $36,115. Lawrence also placed ninth in the 2010-2011 WSOP Circuit National Championship for $30,000.
We are down to just 650 players after seven full levels of play and that means the average stack is 14,552 chips. We are playing 11 levels today which means play will finish around 1:45am local time.
Brandon Cantu just raised to 1,250 and right next to him it was Ryan D'Angelo who moved all-in for his last 4,550 chips. The action got folded to Cantu who didn't seem happy, but eventually made the call.
There was a early position raise to 625 and a call before a player moved all-in for 3,100. Andrey Gulyy was seated on the button and he also moved all-in. The first two players folded and we had a showdown with Gulyy looking for an ace.

Board:
No ace for Gulyy and he has dropped down to 7,000.
