Sowers was ahead with top pair, but Ebanks held a double-gutted straight draw on top of a flush draw. When the spiked on the river and gave Ebanks the said flush, Sowers graciously stood from the table and shook hands with the entire final table.
Sowers was eliminated from the tournament in sixth place while Ebanks took the chip lead with four million.
The American and British rails have gotten a bit rowdy during the last few hands. We missed what happened, but apparently one of the Americans who's supporting Taylor Paur did something excessive, because the Brits were chanting, "Kick him out, kick him out kick him ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut."
As the adult beverages begin to flow more, these chants and counter-chants will surely get louder and more intense.
