Action folded to Chris Moorman in the small blind and he bumped it up to 155,000, which Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier called from the big blind. ElkY proceeded to call a bet of 185,000 on the {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop, leading to the {9-Hearts} turn.

This time Moorman checked, ElkY bet 335,000, and the Brit folded. ElkY is up to 4 million while Moorman dropped to 2.9 million.

The very next hand, the action folded to Grospellier on the button, and he opened to 125,000. Ebanks surrendered his small blind, but Tristan Wade moved all in from the big. Grospellier mucked, and after two raise-folds, he saw his stack fall to 3.6 million chips.

PokerStars Team Pro (France) Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier currently sits in 18th place of the 2011 World Series of Poker Player of the Year standings with 299.25 points. Grospellier had three cashes prior to this event. Among those, he finished 11th in Event #16: $10,000 2-7 Draw Lowball Championship for $27,928, and won Event #21: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship, banking $331,639.

With a win or a runner-up finish in this event, Grospellier would leapfrog Ben "Benba" Lamb, becoming the POY leader through 46 events.

Chris Moorman will also climb the leaderboard wherever he finishes. Depending on Grospellier's finish, he could also jump into the lead, but only with a win.

Moor for Chris

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Chris Moorman opened to 130,000 on the button, and Joe Ebanks defended his big blind. The flop came down {7-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, and Ebanks check-called a 180,000-chip bet from Moorman.

Both players checked the {a-Clubs} on the turn, and the river was the {2-Spades}. Ebanks checked a third time, and Moorman fired a hefty bet of 445,000. Ebanks tank-folded, and Moorman drug in another pot.

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Taylor Paur (5th Place- $198,140)
Taylor Paur (5th Place- $198,140)

Action folded to Taylor Paur on the button and he raised to 130,000. Bertrand Grospellier folded in the small blind, allowing Joe ebanks to three-bet to 290,000 from the big. Paur moved all in for around 1.7 million, and Ebanks snap-called.

Paur: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Ebanks: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The crowd was on its feet and the noise in the "Thunder Dome" increased ten-fold. Paur was at risk, but his five were currently the best hand. Unfortunately for him, that changed when the {Q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop delivered Ebanks a pair of queens.

The {6-Hearts} turn sent some "ohs" and "Ahs" through the crowd given it was so close to a five, but it still left Paur wanting. The dealer burned and put out the {8-Spades}, putting an end to Paur's tournament in fifth place.
