Cada Clipped

Facing a raise to 1,100 and a three-bet to 3,200 from the cutoff, Joe Cada four-bet the action to 6,000 from the button. The original raiser in the hi-jack folded, but the cutoff moved all in for 11,075. Cada instantly made the call as the cards were tabled.

Cada: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Opponent: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}{K-Diamonds} to see Cada's opponent spike on the river to snag a double while sending Cada tumbling down to 29,500 in chips.

Dabul Doubles

Action folded around to Veronica Dabul in the small blind who raised the action to 1,000. The player in the big blind three-bet to 3,000 only to have Dabul come back over the top, four-betting to 8,000. The player in the big blind announced that he was all in and Dabul made the call.

Dabul: {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}
Opponent: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}

The board came {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and Veronica Dabul was able to win a sizable pot off of her opponent. She's now sitting with a healthy stack of around 37,000.

Lee Makes Great Call

We caught the action between Ronald Lee and Tommy Vedes on the river of a board that showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}. Vedes led out for 6,000, and Lee went deep into the tank. The 6,000 represented most of his remaining stack, but after thinking it over for an extended period of time, he made the call and showed {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. Vedes mucked his hand, and Lee got some much needed chips.

Table Pushing Back Against Bellande

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

In the following two hands we can see that Jean-Robert Bellande's table is beginning to push back against him, causing him to lose some chips.

First, Bellande led out with a bet on a queen-high board only to get raised to around 5,000 from another player. Bellande folded {K-}{Q-} face up and seemed distraught about it.

A couple of hands later, on a {J-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} Bellande led out and was raised to 2,050 by his opponent. Bellande made the call and the {2-Hearts} turned. Bellande checked and his opponent fired out 5,150. Bellande mucked, even more noticeably disheartened at the loss of two sizable pots within such a short time frame. He's sitting with about 23,000 now.

Facing a limper, Joe Cada entered the pot with a raise to 1,900 which Jean-Robert Bellande called next to act.

The limper came along, but on the {10-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop, he folded after Cada continued for 3,600 and Bellande called. The turn of the {K-Spades} saw Cada move all in with Bellande making the call for his tournament life.

Cada: {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Bellande: {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Unfortunately for Bellande, the river landed the {J-Diamonds} to see him sent to the rail as Cada climbed to 58,000 in chips.

Grippo Bluffs but Retains Lead

Facing a button raise to 1,600, Nicholas Grippo made the call to see a {5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} flop fall. Grippo check-called a 2,200-chip bet before both players tapped the table when the {9-Spades} landed on the turn.

When the river landed the {J-Spades}, Grippo led for 4,800 with his opponent making the call tabling his {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Grippo mucked his hand and slipped to 75,000 - which currently is the chip lead.
