Lee Folds, Still Has Plenty

Facing a limp and a raise to 875, Bernard Lee made the call from the button, as did the limper, to see a {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop fall.

The preflop aggressor fired out 700 which Lee called before the limp-caller played the check-raise card making it 5,000 to go to force both the flop aggressor and Lee's cards into the muck.

Although losing that pot, Lee still sits with 25,800 in chips.

Cada Four-Bets

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

2009 Main Event Champion Joe Cada opened the betting by raising to 725 preflop from early position. It folded around to the player in the cutoff who quickly three-bet to 1,800.

Action folded back around to Cada who slowly and meticulously counted out his chips and then stacked them back up. He did this one more time before pushing out a pile of chips, four betting to 4,350. His opponent shook his head and threw his cards to the muck.

Cada scooped the pot and is now sitting around 20,500 in chips.

Moving to Black

With tables beginning to break, here are some of the players that have moved to the Black section of the Pavilion room.

Unfortunately, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier took a seat between Andrew Lichtenberger and Justin Bonomo, and when our PokerNews field reporter ventured over to get a chip count, Grospellier had bitten the dust.

Binger Busts One

Nich Binger and a short stacked opponent got all of the chips in preflop, and Binger was looking to collect a bounty in a race situation.

Binger: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Opponent: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The flop came out {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{9-Spades}, giving Bingera set but his opponent an open ended straight draw. Binger faded the turn, coming the {3-Hearts}, and also faded the river, as it came the {a-Clubs}. Binger knocked out his opponent, and boosted his stack to over 20,000.

Bellande Complains, Cada Arrives

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

"Anyone object to playing seven-handed!" asked Jean-Robert Bellande to his table.

"I do!" responded one player as they waited patiently for their new players.

"Maybe I should tweet it" continued Bellande.

"If you tweet Jack [Effel], you'll get a player now!" stated the Tournament Director.

A few moments later Bellande exclaimed, "God damn five fucking minutes!"

About thirty seconds later, two new players arrived with one of them being 2009 World Champion Joe Cada and his 16,500-chip stack.

Randal Smelling The Flowers

A player under the gun limped in, and Randal Flowers raised to 1,050 in middle position. Action folded back to the under the gun player, who made it 3,000. Flowers then went all in for around 6,000, and his opponent snap called.

Flowers: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

The flop came {10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{a-Spades}, giving Flowers an inside straight draw and his opponent top set. Flowers wouldn't get that straight, as it came {6-Diamonds} and {6-Spades}. Flowers has been eliminated.

Mayrinck Doubles

Maria Mayrinck managed to get her chips all in with {J-}{J-} against her opponent's {A-}{Q-}.

The board ran out {9-}{7-}{8-}{10-}{Q-} and Mayrinck got up to leave as she thought she was beat. It turns out that she misread the board and thought she saw a five as one of the number cards, so in her mind she did not made the winning straight. The dealer informed her that she had the winning hand and she happily sat down to continue playing.
