Pair of Aces Good for Golbuff

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Sam Golbuff opened with a raise under the gun and received calls from Kim Nguyen in the small blind and Darren Woods in the big. Action checked to Golbuff on the {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{A-Spades} flop, and he happily bet. Nguyen then woke up with a check-raise, Woods folded, and Golbuff made the call.

Nguyen bet out when the {K-Diamonds} hit the turn, which Golbuff called. Both players then checked the {8-Clubs} river. Golbuff showed {A-Hearts}{6-Spades} to take down the pot.

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Kim Nguyen raised out of the small blind, Darren Woods defended his big blind, and the flop came down {5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Nguyen check-raised Woods, Woods put in a third bet, and Nguyen called. The turn was the {a-Spades}, and Nguyen chose to just check-call a bet.

Both players checked the {9-Spades} on the river, and Woods' {q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} was good enough for the pot.

Kuzmin Gets Lost in the Woods

Alex Kuzmin raised from the cutoff only to have Darren Woods three-bet from the small blind. Kuzmin made the call and then called a bet on the {Q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop. The dealer proceeded to burn and turn the {5-Clubs}, and the action went check-bet-call. Both players checked the {4-Diamonds} river and woods showed down {10-}{10-}.

Kuzmin simply mucked.

Jack-Deuce Takes Down a Monster Pot

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

A three-way pot developed between Kim Nguyen, Samuel Golbuff, and Darren Woods that saw the action capped preflop. Woods was in the small blind and led out on the {9-Hearts}{2-Spades}{A-Clubs} flop, which both his opponents called. Woods then checked the {2-Diamonds} turn, Golbuff bet, Nguyen raised, Woods folded, and Golbuff made the call.

The {6-Diamonds} appeared on the river and Golbuff check-called a Nugyen bet, only to discover the lady to possess {J-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for trips. It was more than good enough to take down the monster pot.
