Caby Clipped

Taylor Caby fired out 2,000 on a {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop and was called by his opponent.

The turn landed the {6-Hearts} and Caby check-called 3,000 as the {9-Spades} landed on the river and Caby check-called a 2,500-chip bet.

Caby was unable to best his opponent's {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and consequently slipped to 35,000 in chips.

Somerville is Nine-Ballin'

We just caught the tail end of a pot as Jason Somerville bet 10,000 into about 14,000 on a board of {9-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} {A-Clubs} {9-Spades}. The player behind him called for a showdown, and Somerville showed him {J-Spades} {9-Clubs}, three nines. Somerville was behind most of the way -- the opponent flashed the {Q-Clubs} -- but that was a tidy river and a nice pot to move him up to a comfortable 66,000.

The Won-durrrr of It All

Tom Dwan has been broken into the Blue Section and it seems like every time he's in a pot -- which is often -- he creates a media frenzy. He, Lee Markholt and one other player went to a three-way flop of {2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts} after Dwan opened pre-flop from under the gun for 825. Dwan continued for 1,625, driving Markholt out of the pot. The third player called.

The turn paired the board, {4-Spades}. Dwan put the rest of his stack at risk, 6,700 in total. He did not get called. A few hands later Dwan was in again, pre-flop this time, after a raise, a call, and a re-raise. Nobody called.

Dwan's stack is now about 14,000.

Smooth Wheel for Corkins

Facing a limp in middle position, Hoyt Corkins bumped it from the small blind to 1,625 with the limper making the call.

The flop fell down {8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{4-Spades} and Corkins led out for 2,125 with his opponent making the call before both players checked the {5-Spades} on the turn.

The river landed the {10-Diamonds} and Corkins fired out 4,625 with his opponent making the call.

Corkins tabled his {A-Spades}{3-Hearts} to best his opponent's {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} to see the 'Cowboy' climb to 95,000 in chips.

Negreanu Slips

Catching the action with the board reading {Q-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} Amir Esfandiari checked to Daniel Negreanu who fired out 1,650.

One player folded, but Esfandiari check-raised to 3,850 with Negreanu making the call.

The river landed the {2-Clubs} and Esfandiari led for 3,400 with Negreanu making the call.

Esfandiari tabled his {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} to collect the pot and move to 42,300 as Negreanu mucked and slipped to 34,800 in chips.

Rich Straightens Out Opponent

On a board reading {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts} Jordan Rich check-raised to 8,000 following his opponent's 3,000-chip bet.

His opponent made the call and paid another 5,000 when the river landed the {8-Spades} to see Rich table his {8-Hearts}{6-Spades} to collect the pot and move to 44,000 in chips.

That's Not Shaun Deeb

On our first rounds in Blue since the dinner break, we spotted a different player occupying Shaun Deeb's previous seat. We're not sure if Deeb busted right before dinner or right after. Either way, he's out of the tournament.
