Scott Haraden opened with a button raise, and Paul Parker reraised the pot to leave himself with 12,300 chips behind. Haraden called, and the two men took a flop of . Parker put his remaining chips in the middle, and Haraden called with the covering stack.
Showdown
Haraden:
Parker:
Parker was in front and in fine shape to double, and he stayed safe on the turn. The river, however, was a bit more unkind. The dealer peeled off the , and Haraden let out a beastly roar after spiking that two outer to send Parker out.
Haraden - 65,000
We don't have any details other than to tell you that Tim Kahlmeyer is outta here in 54th place.
Jason Lavallee opened to 5,600 from early position, and Joseph Williams announced, "Pot," to put himself all in for about 32,000 total. Christian Harder made the call, and Lavallee called off his last ~10,000 chips to put two another two players in jeopardy.
Showdown
Lavallee:
Williams:
Harder:
The ace on the flop was not good news for Lavallee as the dealer put out . The on fourth street changed nothing, and it looked like we were about to lose two more players. If not for a timely on the river, that would have been the case, but that card saved Williams from extinction, giving him that 70,000-chip pot.
Lavallee's out, and Harder drops to a disappointing 47,000 after failing to fade that river.
Steven Hustoft was all in before the flop with , and he ran himself into Melissa Hayden's .
There was a bit of a sweat on board, but ultimately nothing funny as it ran out , sending Hustoft home in 57th place unofficially. Hayden is up to 76,000.
Also making his exit just moments ago was Jared Jaffee, though we missed the hand that sealed his demise.
When we walked up to the table, Stefan Rapp was all in preflop against Mark Babekov, and it was a coin flip:
Rapp:
Babekov:
The flop was a pretty good miss for Rapp as the gave him four more outs to work with. The news would turn sour in a hurry though; the turn and river came and respectively, and it's hard to beat quads with ace high. Rapp's day is done.
Christian Harder opened the opened the with a 4,200-chip bet in the small blind and Armen Kara re-popped it to 12,600 in the big blind. Harder bet pot, and Kara went all in. Harder eventually called.
Showdown
Kara:
Harder:
Board:
That's a double up for Harder who now has 85,000 chips, Kara slipped to 67,000.
Jason Potter and Dan Sindelar were both all in before the flop against Stephen Simm.
Potter:
Sindelar:
Simm:
The all inners would not like what the dealer did to them, running out a board of . That pushes the pot to Simm, chipping him up to 60,000 and knocking off two players in the process. That's pretty nice work.
Joe Serock just took care of Archibald Vanhorn and his short stack. Vanhorn was working with , and Serock put him to the test with .
Board:
That's the end of Vanhorn's day, and Serock chips up a bit to 145,000.
Raymond Coburn raised from the hijack seat, and Michael Maher moved all in for about 10,000 from the cutoff seat. On the button, Julie Farkas reraised, successfully isolating herself against the at-risk player and bringing about the showdown:
Maher:
Farkas:
It was aces again for Farkas, and she held this time too. The board came , knocking off Maher and moving Farkas up further to about 44,000.
