Kevin Odell Eliminated in 4th Place ($228,614)

Kevin Odell

Despite doubling up moments ago, Kevin Odell found himself all in once again, this time against fan favorite Thiago Nishijima. On this occasion, he had the goods with {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} over a paltry {9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}.

The {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop, however, favored the Brazilian and sent the rail into a wild frenzy unseen since the yellow and green last won the World Cup. The {10-Spades} hit the turn, and after a {3-Diamonds} river it was all over.

For the third time, the Brazilians stormed the stage in their masses, barging past Odell in the process. As they jumped aorund with their hero, singing and chanting, Odell scrambled out of his seat and exited stage left.

After the hand, the announcer issued the rail a warning about disrespecting the participants by charging into the playing area uninvited.

Raymond Coburn just received a massive double-up through Kevin Odell.

Odell opened to 250,000 from under gun and Coburn three-bet to 800,000 on the button. Odell tank-called and the flop came {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Odell led for 1,000,000 and Coburn thought for a minute before going all in for right around 2,000,000 chips. Odell tanked for a very long time, but eventually stood up, announced call and opened {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

He was well behind Coburn's {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}.

The turn and river came {2-Hearts}, {j-Clubs} respectively and Coburn shipped the huge double up. Odell meanwhile is crippled to 350,000 chips.

Waves Ahead

The atmosphere here today is electric as the Nishijima fans continue to bombard the rail. They might be from Brazil, but after a few failed attempts they finally managed to get a wave circulating the final table.

Meanwhile, the Coburn fans are doing their utmost to show their support; they just started a "Go Ray" chant to the tune of "Olay Olay..."

Jesse Rockowitz raised to 185,000 from under the gun and Michael Goldfarb defended in the big blind.

On the {3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop, Goldfarb checked, Rockowitz continuation bet 145,000 and Goldfarb called.

The turn brought the {3-Hearts} and Goldfarb turned aggressor by leading out for 500,000. Rockowitz made the call.

The final card was the {6-Diamonds}, and without too much hesitation, Goldfarb glanced at his stack, waved his hand and announced all-in.

After a long tank, Rockowitz made the call and showed {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}. Goldfarb could only muster {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.
