Hand #30: Jason Young

Austin McCormick has the button in Seat 5.

Under the gun, Jason Young raises to 90,000. Tom Dwan makes the call a few seats over in position, and they go heads up to the flop.

It comes {J-Spades} {J-Hearts} {5-Clubs}, and Young knocks the table. Dwan does the same, and the {4-Clubs} appears on fourth street. Young stacks out 150,000 and slides the chips forward, and that wins him the pot as "durrrr" quickly releases his cards.

Kyle Winter Eliminated in 8th Place ($59,547)

Hand #26:

Jason Young has the button in Seat 1.

Austin McCormick raises to 95,000 in early position before Kyle Winter moves all in for 405,000 right behind him. In the small blind, Michael Smith makes the call, and Winter is officially at risk. Not to be outdone, McCormick moves all in over the top of both players. After some hemming and hawing, Smith ducks out of the way, and McCormick is heads up with a chance at the knockout.

McCormick: {10-Hearts} {10-Clubs}
Winter: {A-Clubs} {K-Hearts}

The board comes {8-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {3-Clubs} {4-Hearts}. Unable to improve his overcards, Winter has been eliminated in 8th place, and that's two knockouts in the first three hands back from break.

Eric Ladny Eliminated in 9th Place ($45,603)

Hand #24:

David Randall has the button in Seat 8.

Action folds to Eric "AvrilSharapova" Ladny in the cutoff who opens to 95,000. Randall folds his button and Simon Watt shoves from the small blind. The big blind folds and Landy makes the call:

Showdown
Ladny: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Simon: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

"ACE!!!!! QUEEN!!!!!" Ladny's rail yells.

The dealer wraps the table and fans out {3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}.

The rail grows louder, but is silenced as the {8-Spades} spikes on the turn.

The hand is over, and Ladny is standing to leave as the {6-Hearts} falls on the river.

He shakes some hands before leaving the tournament area to collect $45,603 for his 9th place finish.

Watt is now sitting with 2,090,000 chips.

No Dinner for Durrrr

Tom "Durrrr" Dwan isn't spending his one-hour dinner break eating and refueling. Instead, he's moved over to Event No. 15: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split-8 or Better Championship and is trying to build up a stack over there. If you'd like to follow coverage of his multi-tabling, head over to that live reporting page here while you wait for the final table to recommence.
