Sixes Lucky for Lacay

William Molson raised to 3,200 from UTG, and Ludovic Lacay called from middle position. The rest of the table folded. The flop came {2-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, and both players checked. The turn was the {Q-Diamonds}. Molson checked, Lacay bet 6,000, and after some deliberation Molson called.

The river was the {2-Hearts}. Molson again checked, and this time Lacay fired out 31,000. Molson exhaled, riffled his chips, then finally made the call. Lacay turned over {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for the boat, and Molson mucked.

Lacay is back up to 130,000, while Molson slips to 110,000.

Shuan Deeb and Veldhuis Continue to Battle

Shaun Deeb and Lex "RaSZi" Veldhuis have declared all out war with one another...

From the cut off, Veldhuis raises to 3,600 and Deeb reraises to 12,100 from the small blind. Veldhuis four bets and Deeb moves all in. Veldhuis calls instantly with {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} and faces the pocket fours of Deeb.

The board comes {Q-Clubs} {10-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} {9-Hearts}, giving Veldhuis the pot with a pair of aces. He doubles up and is now at 330,000.

Shaun Deeb takes a hit, but a few hands later he's back up to 120,000.

David Benyamine Eliminated

David Benyamine

Kyle Wilson raises in late position to 4,500 and David Benyamine reraises in the small blind to 15,000. Wilson calls.

The flop comes {K-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} and both players check. The turn brings the {9-Clubs} and Benyamine leads out for 12,000. Wilson raises to 36,000 and Benyamine calls.

The river is the {A-Hearts} and Benyamine checks. Wilson puts out a large bet of 100,000, enough to put Benyamin all in. He makes the call, but after Wilson shows him {J-Clubs} {5-Clubs} for a flush he mucks his cards and leaves the tournament area.

Kyle Wilson - 300,000
David Benyamine - Eliminated

Esfandiari Eliminates Duke, Builds Chip Lead

Antonio Esfandiari
Antonio Esfandiari
We picked up the action on the river in this one. With the board showing {10-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs} and the pot approximately 50,000, our current chip leader Antonio Esfandiari pushed out a gawdy-looking stack of 220,000, plenty more than needed to put his lone opponent, Annie Duke, all in, should she choose to commit her last 75,000.

Duke deliberated for some time, then finally made the call. Esfandiari quickly flipped over his {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for trip treys, and Duke mucked. Adding insult to injury, the dealer momentarily exposed Duke's hand (with which she was less than pleased).

Duke is out, and Esfandiari has now pushed his stack up to 470,000.

Dennis Phillips Doubles Through Doug Lee

With 20,000 chips already in the pot on the {A-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} flop, Doug Lee checked from the small blind, Dennis Phillips bet 20,000 and Lee called. The turn was the {6-Spades}. Lee checked again, Phillips moved all in for his remaining 25,000 and Lee made the call, turning up {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} for a flush draw vs. Phillips' {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds}. Lee couldn't get there on the river, which fell the {8-Spades} and Phillips doubled up to 113,000. Lee was left with 64,000.

Kassela Bounces Boucher

Phillipe Boucher just found himself all in against Frank Kassela, and when the pair flipped their cards it was nothing but red paint -- {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} for Kassela, and {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} for Boucher.

The flop came {2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, and Kassela was freerolling. The {J-Hearts} on the turn settled matters, and Boucher was eliminated. Kassela now has 340,000.

Cole Burned by the Dragon

With 30,000 in the middle and a flop of {Q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, David "The Dragon" Pham checked, Corwin Cole bet 16,400, and Pham called. The turn was the {J-Clubs}. This time Pham led out for 25,000, Cole reraised all in for his last 38,000, and Pham quickly called, turning over {J-Hearts}{J-Spades} for the turned set. Cole showed {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}.

The river was the {Q-Clubs}, and Cole is out. Pham now has 220,000.

Demidov Decimated

Ivan Demidov
Ivan Demidov
A middle position player raised to 3,200, the hijack and the cutoff both called, and Ivan Demidov reraised to 12,700 from the button. Eric Kessleman four-bet to 30,000 from the big blind and the other three players got out of the way. With the action back on Demidov, he moved all in for his remaining 137,000 and Kesselman made the call, showing {K-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} to Demidov's {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs}.

The board ran out {Q-Spades} {5-Spades} {4-Clubs} {10-Spades} {7-Spades} and Kesselman raked in most of Demidov's chips, increasing his stack to 315,000.

With only 10,900 in chips remaining, Demidov met his end only a few hands later. After Noah Schwartz opened from the button for 4,600, Demidov reraised to 10,000 leaving himself only 900 behind. Chance Walker called from the big blind and Schwartz called as well.

The flop came down {A-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} and Demidov put his last 900 in the pot. Walker raised to 20,000 to isolate and it did the trick, as Schwartz mucked his hand and the cards went on their backs.

Demidov {J-Clubs} {J-Spades}
Walker {A-Spades} {J-Diamonds}

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} , the river was the {2-Hearts} and Demidov made his exit.
