Demidov Decimated

Ivan Demidov
Ivan Demidov
A middle position player raised to 3,200, the hijack and the cutoff both called, and Ivan Demidov reraised to 12,700 from the button. Eric Kessleman four-bet to 30,000 from the big blind and the other three players got out of the way. With the action back on Demidov, he moved all in for his remaining 137,000 and Kesselman made the call, showing {K-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} to Demidov's {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs}.

The board ran out {Q-Spades} {5-Spades} {4-Clubs} {10-Spades} {7-Spades} and Kesselman raked in most of Demidov's chips, increasing his stack to 315,000.

With only 10,900 in chips remaining, Demidov met his end only a few hands later. After Noah Schwartz opened from the button for 4,600, Demidov reraised to 10,000 leaving himself only 900 behind. Chance Walker called from the big blind and Schwartz called as well.

The flop came down {A-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} and Demidov put his last 900 in the pot. Walker raised to 20,000 to isolate and it did the trick, as Schwartz mucked his hand and the cards went on their backs.

Demidov {J-Clubs} {J-Spades}
Walker {A-Spades} {J-Diamonds}

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} , the river was the {2-Hearts} and Demidov made his exit.
