UTG v BB

Scott Clements raised from UTG and only Daniel Nagreanu called from the BB before a {10-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {5-Hearts} flop comes down. Negreanu check calls a Clements bet as he also does on the {4-Spades} turn. They both check through the {10-Hearts} river.

Clements scoops with {A-?} {A-?} {6-?} {2-?}. Negreanu's {4-?} {5-?} {7-?} {2-?} no good.

Cameron McKinley Eliminated in 10th Place ($39,709)

Cameron McKinley - 10th Place
Cameron McKinley - 10th Place
Cameron McKinley quartered Daniel Negreanu to get some chips back, but he busted the very next hand to Ben Boyd after they got the chips in on a {A-Clubs} {K-Spades} {Q-Spades} flop.

McKinley {A-Spades} {4-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {Q-Clubs}
Boyd {A-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}

The turn {9-Clubs} and river {2-Spades} secured the pot for Boyd and after this elimination, we're at our official final table of nine.

McKinley Gets a Quarter Back

Cameron McKinley raised to open the pot from the cutoff seat, and Annie Duke came along from the big blind.

Heads up then, the flop came {10-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {5-Spades}. Duke led out into the pot, and McKinley said, "Let's do it," and pushed all of his chips forward. Annie put in the call, and McKinley nearly tabled his hand before the dealer told him that he still had uncalled chips left behind. On the {8-Hearts} turn, Duke put him in, and McKinley committed his last few thousand chips, all in and at risk.

Showdown
Duke: {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {3-Clubs}
McKinley: {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {J-Clubs}

Both players had turned the nuts with no re-draw. "Chop it up," said Annie, not realizing that she was still alive for the low half of the pot. When the river brought an un-paired low card, she thanked the player for pointing that out, quartering McKinley and leaving him crippled as the very short stack.

Show Him the Monnette

John Monnette raised, and Tom Koral made the call for a heads-up flop. It came down {3-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {8-Clubs}. After a check, Monnette bet, Koral raised, Monnette three-bet, and Koral flat-called.

Fourth street was the {5-Clubs}, and fifth was the {10-Clubs}. On both streets, Koral check-called single big bets from Monnette.

Showdown
Monnette: {A-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {7-Hearts}
Koral: {A-Hearts} {2-Spades} {4-Hearts} {6-Spades}

The two men chopped up the bottom half with their nut lows, but Monnette's pair of threes was good enough to take the high half, quartering Koral.
