Here are some brief notes about the final table players.

Daniel Negreanu - Negreanu has over $11 million in career tournament earnings and holds four WSOP gold bracelets. Negreanu is one of the best players in the game and could easily be the most likable by poker fans. He is from Canada and currently resides in Las Vegas. Negreanu is second on the all-time money list only to Jamie Gold and is only slightly over $870,000 behind Gold.

Barry Shulman - Shulman has over $1.5 million in career tournament earnings and holds one gold bracelet. He won the $1,500 Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo Split 8-or-Better event back in 2001. He began playing poker in the 1950s.

Kevin Hong - Hong has almost $225,000 in career tournament winnings. He has two WSOP cashes, but this one will be his biggest and his first final table. Hong was originally born in Malaysia, but now lives in California.

Tommi Horkko - Horkko has one cash to his name in the EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final. He is a civil engineer from Finland and began playing poker in 2005.

Brock Parker - Parker has almost $200,000 in tournament winnings. Over half of those winnings came in 2008 when he final tabled the World Championship Limit Hold'em event. He also made the final table of a limit event back in the 2004 WSOP.

Kyle Ray - Ray is from Fayetteville, Georgia and is a professional poker player. He began playing poker in 2004 and has one cash in the World Series that came back in 2007.

The flop came down {A-Hearts} {K-Clubs} {8-Clubs} and Negreanu checked. Buckley bet, Park raised, Negreanu folded, and then Buckley reraised all in. Parker made the call.

Parker revealed {A-Diamonds} {A-Spades} to crush Buckley's {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}. The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and the river was the {J-Hearts} to eliminate Buckley in 7th place and the bubble boy of the official final table.

Hong Crushed By the River

Tommi Horkko raised from under the gun before Barry Shulman three-bet from the button. Kevin Hong called out of the big blind and then Horkko called as well. The flop came down {J-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}.

Hong checked, Horkko fired a bet, Shulman raised, Hong then made it three bets, and Horkko folded. Shulman came along for the ride.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} and Hong bet. Shulman called. The river came the {K-Spades} and Hong bet. Shulman raised and Hong made the call.

Shulman tabled {K-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} and Hong mucked pocket queens, as he dropped to 100,000 chips.

Daniel Negreanu and Kyle Ray just finished up a conversation about training videos, CardRunners, and where Ray plays online poker when the got involved in this hand.

Ray raised and then Negreanu reraised from the button. Ray made the call. The flop came down {9-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} and Ray checked. Negreanu bet and Ray called.

The turn brought the {9-Clubs} and Ray check-called again. The river produced the {6-Clubs} and both players checked. Negreanu showed {A-Spades} {Q-Spades} and Ray showed {A-Diamonds} {J-Spades}. Both players chopped up the pot.

"Ace queen of spades is the bottom of my three-betting range." joked Negreanu.
