Kings Hold for Scott Montgomery

Scott Montgomery raised to 175,000 and Dean Hamrick called from the small blind. Both players checked the {9-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} flop, and they also checked when the {A-Spades} fell on the turn. When the {7-Diamonds} came on the river, Hamrick check-called Montgomery's 200,000 bet, then mucked when Scott showed {K-Spades} {K-Hearts}.

Peter Neff - 36th Place
Peter Neff - 36th Place
After a raise from the button, Peter Neff moved all in from the small blind with {A-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} and unfortunately for him Darus Suharto woke up in the big blind with {A-Spades} {J-Hearts}. He moved in himself, the player on the button folded, and when the board ran out {8-Spades} {J-Spades} {K-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} Neff was eliminated.

Judet Takes Over a Million from Losev

Toni Judet raised to 150,000 from middle position and Nikolay Losev called. The flop was {7-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {2-Diamonds}. Judet bet 200,000 and Losev called. The turn was {9-Clubs}. Judet bet another 400,000 and Losev called. The river was the {2-Clubs}. Judet fired out 600,000 and Losev thought for about three minutes before calling.

Judet showed {9-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} for nines full and Losev mucked. Judet now commands a stack of 5,825,000 while Losev has slipped to 5.6 million, after reaching a high-water mark of 10,000,000 earlier in the day.

Correction to the Benefield-Cantu Hand

In the description of the hand where David Benefield was eliminated there was a substantial error in the betting on the turn. With the board reading {10-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {7-Clubs}, Cantu checked, Benefield bet 335,000, Cantu moved all in, and Benefield called. The original post said Benefield moved all in for 335,000 and that was wrong--he bet 335,000, Cantu moved in, and David made the call. Benefield had the straight but Cantu made his flush when the {6-Clubs} fell on the river.

Our apologies for the error. The post in question has been modified and corrected.
