Craig Marquis opened with a raise to 80,000 from the button with Jamal Sawaqdeh making the call from the big blind.
Marquis fired bets on the flop and turn, before both players checked the river on a board of . Marquis revealed to take it down as Sawaqdeh flashed for a busted flush draw.
Sawaqdeh is now on the short stack while Marquis is up to over 2.2 million.
Dennis Phillips raised to 110,000 from middle position and Jeremy Joseph called from the small blind.
The flop came and Joseph check-called a bet of 200,000 from Phillips. The turn brought the and both players checked. When the river fell the , Joseph led out for 500,000 and Phillips went into the tank.
After about five minutes, Phillips finally pushed out the call. Joseph showed but Phillips had him beat with .
Phillips said, "That was a great bet. I figured I was either good, or making a donkey call." Phillips climbed to just over 5,000,000 chips on the hand while Joseph slipped to about 2,400,000.
Suresh Prabhu made a button raise to 90,000, Victor Ramdin moved all in from the big blind and Prabhu called.

The flop was , Prabhu's fives still leading, but Ramdin picked up the nut flush draw. The turn was the , pairing Ramdin's eight, and then he made his flush on the river when the fell. Ramdin doubled up to 1,150,000 while Prabhu was left with 800,000.
Justin Scott raised to 90,000 from middle position and David Saab made the call in the big blind.
Saab checked in the dark as the flop came . Scott said, "Check already? Scary!" before checking behind.
The turn was the and again both check. The river landed the and Saab fired out 150,000. Scott stood from his chair before making the call. Saab turned over , which was good to take down the pot.
After Garrett Beckman raised to 80,000, Chris Zapf moved all in for 220,000 with . Beckman called with but he got no help from the board and Zapf doubled to 480,000. Beckman now sits with 1.8 million.
Alfredo Fernandez opened for 200,000 and Chris Klodnicki made the call from the big blind. The flop was . Klodnicki checked, Fernandez bet 300,000, Klodnicki raised to 800,000, Fernandez moved all in and Klodnicki called.

The turn was the , the river was the and Klodnicki dragged the pot, increasing his stack to 3,650,000. Fernandez was left with 950,000.
It's also worth noting that during this 3 million chip pot, the players involved, as well as their tablemates, were completely silent-- not something you see too often this late in the Main Event.
Jamal Sawaqdeh opened with a strangely large raise to 330,000 and Jamal Kunbuz made the call in position.
They took a flop of and Sawaqdeh moved all in with Kunbuz making the call. Both players showed down the same hand, ace-king, so a chopped pot was assured.
However, the table waited for several minutes for the ESPN cameras to rush over and get set up to film the action, as is standard for an "all in-call" situation.
Mike Matusow conveyed his annoyance at having to wait for the cameras when they already knew that it was going to result in a chopped pot.
David "Chino" Rheem has been playing every hand he's dealt and has, in turn, won most of the pots at his table (see Bob Whalen's elimination post below for additional evidence). After only 30 minutes of play, he's built his stack up to 5,000,000.
