Von Halle Gone

Von Halle Gone
Von Halle Gone
Jan Von Halle got the last of his chips in the middle on a flop of {K-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} with {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} for top pair against an opponent's flush draw with {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

The turn was enough as it arrived the {A-Clubs} to complete the flush. A meaningless {Q-Diamonds} on the river and Von Halle made a hasty exit at the start of the third level of play.

Yellowsub Goes to Break with a Win

A middle position player raised to 650, Jeff "yellowsub" Williams called from the small blind and the big blind called as well. The flop was {J-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {5-Clubs}. Williams checked, the big blind checked, the MP player bet 1,025, Williams called and the big blind folded. The turn was the {2-Diamonds}. Williams checked, the MP player bet 2,200 and Williams made what looked like an uneasy call. The river was the {4-Hearts} and both players checked.

"I've got a six" said the big blind, who mucked after Williams turned up {J-Hearts} {10-Hearts}. Yellowsub chipped up to 17,800 just as the field went to break.

Rosen Sits With Kings

Rosen Up To 41,000
Rosen Up To 41,000
On a board of {8-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{9-Clubs} Jamie Rosen fired out 6,300 on the river and his opponent made the call.

Rosen tabled {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} for a set of kings which was good to take down the huge pot and jump to 41,000 chips.

Blake Cahail Eliminated

The Wiz Is Gone
The Wiz Is Gone
Blake Cahail moved all in on the turn with the board reading {K-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs} but his opponent snap-called tabling {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for a set of deuces to leave Cahail drawing dead with his {K-Hearts}{7-Hearts}.

Wanting to head straight to the exit, Cahail was forced to stick around and wait for the ESPN cameras to come over and capture the bustout moment of "The Wiz".

Needing some magic to survive, a meaningless {5-Diamonds} on the river was enough to end the day for Cahail

On Your Mark...

Inside of two minutes until the end of the level, the mad dash begins -- people running for the exits of the Amazon Room so that they can hit the bathroom or the poker kitchen before the rest of the field, thereby avoiding long lines at both.
