After a player limped Daniel Negreanu raised to 12,000 and Clonie Gowen reraised to 35,000 from the small blind. The limper folded and Negreanu made the call. The flop came and Gowen fired out for 40,000, which Negreanu called. But when the turned and Gowen bet 55,000 that was too pricey for Negreanu, who folded. Gowen now has 300,000 while Negreanu fell to 340,000.
After a flop Adam Glassman checked and Michael Banducci bet 16,000. Glassman moved in for his last 88,000 and Banducci made the call. He turned over for middle pair while Glassman had a flush draw with . The flush draw didn't come in as the board ran out and Glassman was eliminated.
Alex Jacob made it 12,000 to go preflop and was called by Nam Le. Gary Haglund, from late position, moved all in on top. Jacob got out of the way while Nam Le made the call and showed pocket queens. Haglund turned over pocket kings and was disappointed in a flop of . The set held up for Le and Haglund was eliminated.
