Isaac Haxton Eliminated

Edward Sabat made it 11,000 to go preflop and Isaac Haxton moved all in. Sabat called and showed pocket kings while Haxton held A-Q. A king landed on the flop and Isaac failed to improve.

C.K. Hua Eliminates Freddy Deeb

Deeb looked to be in great shape when he got all his chips in the middle holding pocket aces. However, this is hold'em, and the hand isn't over until that spiteful river is dealt.

Hua turned over {K-Spades} {Q-Clubs} and the board ran {K-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {6-Clubs}. Deeb was without the {A-Clubs} and Hua took the pot down with a running flush.

Bryan Micon Wins a Huge Pot With Alex Jacob

After a {10-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} flop Bryan Micon bet 21,000 and Alex Jacob came over the top for 84,500. Micon only had 84,300 behind and called with pocket kings, which were way ahead of Jacob's pocket jacks. The board ran out {9-Clubs} {4-Hearts} and Micon won a huge hand that pushed him up past the 180,000 mark while Jacob was left with just 300.

Which he lost on the next hand, as Jacob was dealt pocket tens and lost to a player with J-9 when he flopped a jack. And Alex Jacob was eliminated.

JC Tran Eliminated

JC Tran had been shortstacked after leading out preflop, getting raised, reraising, and then ultimately folding when his opponent moved all in.

His elimination happened two hands later when he led out preflop for 8,500 and his opponent made it 24,500. Tran moved all in and was called. Tran held A-K while his opponent, Lasse Peterson, held A-Q. Lasse spiked a queen on the flop and Tran was unable to recover.

Howard Millian Ruins David Rohrbach's Day

And weekend, and maybe the rest of June. After seeing a {K-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {2-Hearts} flop Millian and Rohrbach got all the money in the middle, and Millian's A-Q was way behind Rohrbach's set of Kings. The {10-Spades} on the river gave Millian a lifeline and he pulled on it all the way to safety as the {J-Diamonds} hit on the river to give Millian the runner-runner straight and cripple Rohrbach.

A few hands later Millian used A-Q to dispatch Rohrbach's Q-7 and send him out of the tournament. Millian is now up to 145,000.

More Than Half

Play has tightened up here in the Brasilia room. We were losing players faster than even the payouts area could keep up with, but for now the crazy action has slowed down.

We're down to 86 players remaining, which is less than half of what we started the field with, and we've only been playing for a little over two levels.

Issac Haxton Makes a Big Call

With the board reading {K-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {10-Spades} Leonid Yanovski bet 20,000 into a 25,000 pot and Issac Haxton went into the tank. The computations complete, Haxton chose to call and Yanovski mucked as Haxton showed {Q-Spades} {2-Spades} to take the pot. He's now up to 111,000 while Yanovski is down to 68,000.
