Hand #99 - Minieri

Fischer raises it up to 100,000 on the button. Filtz passes, content to concentrate on his frozen snack, but big blind Minieri reraises to 350,000. Fischer folds, and Dario wins the pot.

Lolly Introduced to the Final Table

Justin Filtz is currently sucking on an ice lolly. I don't think I've ever seen any one sucking on an ice lolly at the final table. In fact, ice based food products seem to be a rarity in pokerooms these days, well, any day for that matter. Perhaps if Filtz wins here today, ice lolly in hand, he can start a trend. I would suggest he uses it as a card protector, like Greg Raymer and his fossils, but, well, it would melt and the cards would get all sticky.

Hand #97 - Minieri

Filtz folds his button and begins to munch on a strawberry ice lolly. Minieri just limps, and Fischer checks the big blind.

Flop: {9-Hearts} {K-Spades} {10-Diamonds}

Minieri bets out the minimum 40,000 to take the pot.

Hand #96 - Filtz

Justin Filtz and Dario Minieri reach a {9-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} flop in the blinds. Both check, but Dario leads out for 40,000 on the {10-Spades} and Filtz calls. Check, check on the {Q-Diamonds} river. Filtz takes it with {Q-?}{7-?} for rivered second pair.

Hand #93 - Fischer

Seth Fischer
Seth Fischer
Dario Minieri makes it 90,000 to play, only for Seth Fischer to come over the top for an extra 165,000. That is, ahem, the Fischer price.

Minieri reraises, matching the bet and sliding three additional columns of orange chips over the line worth 305,000.

... and Fischer doesn't look happy.

After a brief pause, Fischer pushes all in, and without offering a performance of any kind, Minieri instantly folds.

A crucial pot for Fischer as we head into our second twenty minute break of the day.
