Tang Determined to Win by Any Means Necessary

Ricky Tang seems to be desperate for chips. Seeing that one of our reporters was holding a free promotional 10,000 chip, he asked to borrow it for a moment. He then promptly went back to his seat and put it in his stack. Don't think it's going to wash with the dealers.

He doesn't need to worry yet, though -- he's on a roughly average 150,000.

Wheldon's Turn

They've gone double-up crazy here in the Brasilia Room, the latest player to see his stack duplicate being England's Graham "Chompy" Wheldon.

In one of many preflop all-ins witnessed recently, Graham's {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} held up against Eric Lucas' {A-Spades}{J-Clubs} on an {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds} board to see him shoot back up to 80,000.

Niergarth Finishes Off the Job

No longer with us
No longer with us
Minutes after doubling up Nick Niergarth, Jared Hamby has been eliminated by him.

A gentleman utg limped, and Hamby raised all in for around 70,000 with pocket queens. Niergarth raised all in to isolate, and the utg gent folded A-Q. Niergarth had a mere {A-?} {J-?} -- but went on to make a full house on the {A-?} {K-?} {J-?} {6-?} {J-?} board to knock him out.
