Janet Jones, Wife of "The Great One" Playing Today

Janet Jones
Janet Jones
Janet Jones, best known as an actress, dancer, and hockey superstar Wayne Gretzky's wife, is playing today. After getting into the movie business by dancing in film musicals such as "Annie" and "Staying Alive" her big break came when she starred in 1984's "The Flamingo Kid." Jones and Gretzky married in 1988 and have four children together.

Dressed in a tight white tee, light-wash jeans and carrying an enormous quilted silver lame purse, Jones looks relaxed and focused in her seat at Table 157, her opponents likely oblivious to her fame and notoriety.

WSOP Champions Playing Today

1996 WSOP Champion - Huckleberry Seed
1996 WSOP Champion - Huckleberry Seed
1996 WSOP Champion Huckleberry Seed is also in the mix today.

One of my favorite Huckleberry Seed stories is how he had to jump out of a cab speeding at 50 mph. Phil Hellmuth claims to dodge bullets, but Seed can jump out of speeding cars.

Tony Cousineau Reads Fortune Cookie

Tony Cousineau
Tony Cousinear was eating a fortune cookie at this table and shared his fortune with his table mates. It says, "set-over-set will be your end. No, not really. It says, you are appreciated by your company. That's great. I haven't had a job in 20 years." Debbie Berkhead explained that maybe it means the company you keep at the table? "Oh, I didn't think about it that way. Thanks guys."

Broken Tables

The tournament staff released a chart addressing the order in which the tables will be broken. In just twenty-six minutes of tournament play, two tables have already been broken and players moved to new seats.
