When asked last week about his poker skills Talbot modestly said, "Actually, I'm pretty bad." But so far things have gone all right for Max. He built his stack up to around 37,000 before slipping back to around 16,000 at the dinner break. And if there's one skill that translates well from hockey to poker, it's grinding out a result.
