No Turn in Sight

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

On the four-way flop {7-Spades}{J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, Vasili Firsau bet 7,700 out of the big blind and Jani Vilmunen and Thomas Bichon called. Jan-Peter Jachtmann then raised the pot to 45,700 with {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Bichon was the last to fold his {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

One hand later, Firsau raised 6,000 out of the small blind and Vilmunen three-bet to 24,000. Firsau called and then quickly check-folded his {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs} to a bet of Vilmunen. The Finn had found top set with the {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}.

Ravindran Eliminated

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante
Arvin Ravindran
Arvin Ravindran

Arvin Ravindran raised to 8,400 and was called by Lukas Nemec on the button to see the flop of {6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{K-Spades}. Ravindran continued for 15,000 and then called the shove of Nemec for his last 21,000 behind.

Nemec: {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for two pair
Ravindran: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for a pair of aces

Both the {2-Hearts} turn and the {10-Clubs} river bricked and that eliminated Ravindran in 7th place.

Bichon Takes from Vilmunen

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Lukas Nemec won a small pot against Vasili Firsau when both players checked down the river of a 4d,10s,5s,9c,4h] board after missing a ton of outs with the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Nemec took down the pot with the {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}.

The next hand, Arvin Ravindran raised to 5,000 and was called by Jani Vilmunen and Thomas Bichon in the big blind. On the {J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop, the action got checked to Vilmunen and he bet 11,000 with the {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} showing. Only Bichon called and the Frenchman check-called a bet of 18,000. They then checked down the {5-Diamonds} river and Vilmunen was somewhat surprised to see Bichon flip over {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades} as winning hand.

Jachtmann Doubles Through Firsau

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Jan-Peter Jachtmann raised to 7,000 and then called the three-bet by Vasili Firsau on the button for half his stack, for a total of 24,600.

On the flop {6-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, Jachtmann got his remaining 24,300 in and Firsau called.

Jachtmann: {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Firsau: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

The {3-Clubs} turn gave Firsau a flush draw, but the {4-Spades} on the river bricked for the Belorussian and completed a straight for Jachtmann. Firsau lost the lead to Thomas Bichon as a result after losing the second hand in a row against a shorter stack.

Nemec Triples Up

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Lukas Nemec raised to 7,000 and was called by Jan-Peter Jachtmann from one seat over. Vasili Firsau then three-bet to 30,000 and Nemec called all in for 29,900. Jachtmann called as well and the remaining two active players checked down the board {5-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{K-Spades} entirely.

Nemec: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for quads
Jachtmann: {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for ten-high
Firsau: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a full house, kings over queens

Nuts for Bichon

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Lukas Nemec raised to 6,000 from the button and Thomas Bichon from one seat over made it 20,000 to go, which Nemec called. On the flop {7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, Bichon had spiked the nut flush and an open-ended straight flush draw with {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and bet 14,400. Nemec called with {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} for top pair and a gutshot.

On the {10-Spades} turn both players checked and the {5-Diamonds} river filled up the board. Bichon bet the pot for 85,500 and Nemec gave it a lot of consideration, even counting out his stack. The Czech eventually called with just two pair and dropped a ton of chips in this spot to fall back to the short stacks.
