Jachtmann Loses Some Value; Wins Next Hand

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

In a rather small pot between Thomas Bichon and Jan-Peter Jachtmann, they check the {6-Hearts}{J-Spades}{6-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} turn and the {10-Diamonds} appeared on the river. Bichon checked and eventually folded his {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for two pair queens and jacks to a bet of 13,000. Jachtmann had made trips on the flop and a full on the river with the {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}.

The next hand, Bichon opened to 10,000 with {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Spades} and Jachtmann called in the small blind with {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Vasili Firsau also filled up in the big blind with {Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts} and then got out of the way on the flop {9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Jachtmann had checked and then check-raised big from 21,000 to 93,000 out of the small blind. Bichon forfeited his continuation bet rather quickly.

Firsau Flushes Bichon

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Vasili Firsau and Thomas Bichon battled back and forth to create a pot of 101,000 to the river of a board {5-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{K-Hearts}. Bichon had continued the flop before both players checked the turn. The Frenchman was then tanking the river as Firsau had fired 66,500 out of the small blind with Bichon holding {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{6-Spades} for a straight.

Firsau didn't get called and raked in the pot, the Belorussian had completed a runner runner flush with {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}.

Dimitri Holdeew Eliminated in 4th Place (€9,800)

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante
Dimitri Holdeew
Dimitri Holdeew

The entire Twitch stream broke down and the German stream was still working on the King's Casino website. Once switched over, Dimitri Holdeew was missing and the commentators confirmed his elimination.

It was an all in situation for 71,500 out of the blinds and Jan-Peter Jachtmann had snap-called in a battle of the shorter stacks.

Holdeew: {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Jachtmann: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}

"Six nine will win," Jachtmann said and pointed to his cards. A ten hit on the flop {J-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Spades}, but Jachtmann picked up a flush draw as with his two low cards. The {Q-Clubs} turn bricked, but the {2-Spades} made a flush on the river to bust Holdeew in 4th place and confirm Jachtmann's prediction.

Jachtmann Makes Great Laydown

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Thomas Bichon raised and Jan-Peter Jachtmann three-bet to 40,000 from one seat over, picking up a call from the Frenchman with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}. Jachtmann was ahead preflop with the {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} but the flop fell {Q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Bichon checked and tanked for a long time to call the 46,000 by Jachtmann.

Both players checked the {7-Spades} turn and Bichon then pushed the {2-Clubs} river. Jachtmann was having a tough decision and immediately put his opponent on pocket queens, especially because of the long time the Frenchman had taken to call on the flop. Jachtmann also revealed in table chat he had pocket aces and then made a great laydown.

Jachtmann Doubles Straight After Return from Break

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante
Jan-Peter Jachtmann
Jan-Peter Jachtmann

Thomas Bichon raised to 12,000 in the first hand back from the break and Jan-Peter Jachtmann reraised the pot to 43,500. Bichon put him in and Jachtmann called it off.

Jachtmann: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Bichon: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

The diamonds were dead for Jachtmann, but instead he picked up a clubs flush draw on the flop {7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. The {8-Diamonds} turn improved the German to two pair and Jachtmann held with the {6-Diamonds} river filling up the board.

Firsau Gets some from Jachtmann

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Dimitri Holdeew raised to 10,000 as first to act, holding the {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Jan-Peter Jachtmann called with the {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades} in the small blind and Vasili Firsau called in the big blind with {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades}. The flop {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and the {8-Clubs} turn was checked through with Firsau holding middle set and then top set.

On the {7-Spades} river, Jachtmann was having a stab at the pot and fired 20,000. Firsau raised to 60,000 and that won the pot with Holdeew and Jachtmann both folding.
