Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Gerhard Brimmers
Gerhard Brimmers

Gerhard Brimmers had earlier lost a portion of his stack with kings and was left short. He then got it in preflop in a three-way all-in against Mario Baietta and Rotem Chen.

Mario Baietta: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Gerhard Brimmers: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Rotem Chen: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Brimmers nearly tripled up as Baietta hit the rail.

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Hans Kersebom
Hans Kersebom

On a turn of {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, Hans Kersebom bet 12,000 into a pot of 27,000 and "German Schnitzel" called. The {q-Diamonds} fell on the river and Kersebom jammed with the slightly superior stack.

"German Schnitzel" called for 26,100 and was shown the {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for queens full of jacks by Kersebom, flashing his {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for the straight.

"If I jam the turn, what would happen?" he inquired and Kersebom replied with a "then it would have become difficult for me" before both parted ways.

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Iman Ghashayar
Iman Ghashayar

Iman Ghashayar was all-in for a mere 2,500 out of the big blind and looked up by Massimo Schiralli and Georgios Berkis. The former check-folded the {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop to a bet worth 5,500 and the cards were turned over.

Iman Ghashayar: {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Georgios Berkis: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

The {8-Spades} turn and {5-Hearts} river brought the same straight on the board and Ghashayar could all but smile. Left with around 4,000 in chips he bowed out shortly thereafter.

Sebastian Kappenberg: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Payam Ansarian: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Elvis Earle: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The inferior hand got there on the {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Kappenberg shook his head, then quickly headed out of the tournament area.

Neuville Knocked Out by Pamdir

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Pierre Neuville
Pierre Neuville

Another player has been sent to the rail and that happened to be former WSOP Main Event finalist Pierre Neuville, who continues to run bad in the €1,700 Main Event at King's Resort.

With some 15,000 in the middle in a battle of short stacks over on table eight, Neuville in the hijack and Ferdi Pamdir got their chips in as follows.

Pierre Neuville: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Ferdi Pamdir: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The {k-Spades} turn improved Pamdir to the superior pair and left Neuville with the case queen as out. No miracle happened on the {10-Spades} river to send the Belgian to the rail.

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Duc Quy Nguyen
Duc Quy Nguyen

Andreas Gondrom raised to 600 and Duc Quy Nguyen three-bet to 2,100 on the button for Gondrom to call. What followed was a flop of {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs} on which Gondrom checked, Nguyen continued for 3,200 and the call came shortly after.

On the {k-Hearts} turn, Gondrom check-called for another 7,500 and then checked again the {4-Diamonds} on the river. Nguyen fired a third barrel for 7,500 and Gondrom just flat-called to get shown the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}. Slowly, Gondrom rolled over the {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for a flopped set and chipped up in a fairly significant pot.
