Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Frans Van Staalduinen
Frans Van Staalduinen

Lars Kamphues opened to 320,000 with the {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} from under the gun. Dorian Melchers three-bet to 1,400,000 with the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and that won the pot right there.

Denis Gergoc then raised to 320,000 with {a-Spades}{8-Clubs} in the next hand. Frans Van Staalduinen glanced at the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} in the cutoff and he flat-called after some deliberation. They headed to the {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop on which Gergoc continued for 200,000.

That sent Van Staalduinen into a tank before he raised it up to 600,000, forcing an instant fold from Gergoc.

Lars Kamphues opened to 240,000 in the cutoff with the {a-Spades}{6-Clubs} and it folded to Natale Allegra in the big blind, who just called with the {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and had some 1,125,000 behind. The {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} flop was a big one for Kamphues with the middle pair and nut flush draw.

Allegra checked and Kamphues bet just 125,000 to win the pot without any further resistance.

Ruzicka Bluffs Into the Nut Flush

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Alireza Keyvar
Alireza Keyvar

The action kicked off with an under-the-gun raise to 245,000 by Alireza Keyvar with the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}. It folded all the way to Vojtech Ruzicka in the big blind who called with the {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. The {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop was checked to the initial raiser, who bet 215,000.

Ruzicka had other plans and went for a check-raise to 625,000. That resulted in a staring contest by Keyvar who then just called for the {7-Diamonds} to appear on the turn. Ruzicka fired a bet worth 885,000 for about one thirds of the pot and Keyvar reluctantly called.

The {3-Diamonds} on the river brought a fourth diamond on the board and Ruzicka bet another 800,000 and Keyvar carefully checked his stack before raising to 1,700,000 with few chips behind. Ruzicka sighed and sent the cards into the muck.

Allegra also checked the {q-Hearts} turn and Ruzicka bet 300,000, which was snap-called by the Italian. He then checked his cards again on the {4-Spades} river and checked once more. Ruzicka now bet 1,000,000 and Allegra instantly folded.

Gergoc Extends Lead After Showdown Pot With Kamphues

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Lars Kamphues min-raised with the {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} on the button and was called by Denis Gergoc in the big blind with the {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}. Both players had a piece of the {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop and opted to check instead.

After the {4-Diamonds} turn, Gergoc bet just 180,000 to pick up a call by Kamphues and that led to the {10-Hearts} river. Gergoc now bet 530,000 into a pot of 1,020,000 and Kamphues tossed in a single chip for the call to get shown the bad news.
