Peterfreund Runs Out of Chips

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Adriano Scagnetti raised to 28,000 and Robert Schulz three-bet the button before Dov Peterfreund four-bet all in from the small blind. Jan Timo Jobmann was somewhat tempted but folded, as did Scagnetti. Schulz called instantly and the cards were tabled.

Robert Schulz: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Dov Peterfreund: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The board ran out {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{A-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Scagnetti was asked what he had folded. "I had ace-queen," the Italian added before raising to 29,000 again the next hand. Peterfreund called all in for 21,000 on the button, while Jobmann in the small blind and Olaf Kühle in the big blind.

After the flop of {J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, action checked to Scagnetti and his bet forced two folds to see Peterfreund turn over the {A-Spades}{3-Hearts}. Scagnetti was ahead with {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and stayed there as the {3-Spades} turn and {7-Diamonds} river were both blanks.
