At virtually the same time Ralph Massey fell in 28th place, Matthew Carroll hit the rail in 27th place, but did make the pay jump to $12,695.
Carroll was all in with pocket threes versus the for Adam Cook. Cook had opened, Carroll three-bet jammed, and Cook made the call. From there, a king hit the flop and that was all she wrote for Carroll's tournament.
