Tony Cousineau Eliminated in 20th Place ($9,661)

After a raise of 11,000 from Doug Lee, Tony Cousineau pushed all in with his stack of around 30,000. The pre-flop reveal showed Cousineau ahead with {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} to Doug Lee's {10-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. Lee spiked a a ten to give him the lead as the dealer spread a flop of {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Cousineau could only watch as he waited for help that never came as the turn was the {4-Spades}, and the river brought the {J-Spades}. Mark Newhouse Eliminated in 22nd Place ($9,661)

A few hands after absorbing a bad beat from an opponent who went runner-runner to complete a flush, Mark Newhouse put his remaining 60,000 all in pre-flop from late position and was called by Ben Fineman in the big blind who tabled {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and found himself well ahead of Newhouse's A-9.

Newhouse spiked a nine on the flop but Fineman regained the lead when the {Q-Spades} rolled off on the turn. The river blanked out sending Newhouse to the rail in 22nd position.

Danny Wong
Danny Wong was just eliminated from the championship event by Jason Riesenberg in a battle of the blinds.

According to Jason, he completed the bet from the small blind holding K-2 and Danny checked his option in the big. The flop came A-K-5 with two black cards and Jason passed the first option to Wong who put out a "teaser bet." Jason called and the turn brought a seven, which put a double flush draw on the board. Jason checked once more and Danny insta-shoved. Confident that his king was good, Jason snap-called and sure enough, Danny turned over 4-5. The river brought a red ace and that was all she wrote for Wong, who took home $9,661 in prize money for his 23rd place finish.

Battle of the Blinds

With the button and the small blind limping, big blind Kelly Samson bumped the pre-flop betting up to 20,000. The bet was enough for Adam Geyer to fold from the button, but provoked an all-in from small blind Ben Fineman. After going into the tank for awhile, Samson made the call, putting his tournament life at risk. Samson tabled {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} as he saw he was up against the {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} of Fineman. The flop brought an ace in the door as is came {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, enough to give Samson the lead in the hand. The turn and river were {10-Spades}{9-Spades} respectively, and Samson doubled up.
