Joe Serock opened to 1,500 in early position, Anastasios Belesis called in middle position, and Guy Halimi moved all in for 5,200 near the button. Serock called, Belsis released, and the hands were opened.

Serock{q-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Halimi{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The {q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop gave Serock a leading pair of queens, and they held as the turn and river came {8-Clubs}, {a-Spades} respectively. Serock is up to 62,000, while Halimi is eliminated.

Day 2 Cometh

Jacques Enjoubault
Jacques Enjoubault

Day 2 of the World Poker Tour Season XI Grand Prix de Paris is set to start here at the Aviation Club de France in the next thirty minutes, and for the first time all 143 players will be under the same roof.

Jacques Enjoubault is our overall chip leader with 225,200 chips, and is followed by Antony Lellouche (178,275), Basil Yaiche (142,475), Pasi Heinanen (100,500), and Juha Helppi (96,200). No player crossed the six-figure mark during Day 1b, while four players finished Day 1a with over 100,000 chips.

Enjoubault may have over 4.75 times the average stack, but there are plenty of great players standing between him and the final table, including a plethora of WPT Champions Club Members: Michael Mizrachi, Will Failla, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Juha Helppi, Theo Jorgensen, Sean Jazayeri, Marvin Rettenmaier, Eugene Katchalov, David Benyamine, Matt Waxman, Davidi Kitai, and Scott Seiver. Rettenmaier is looking for his third win this year, and Waxman is looking to win back-to-back Grand Prix de Paris'.

The cards will be in the air shortly, so make sure you stay tuned to PokerNews.com for all of your up-to-the-minute updates!
