A flop of 8♠6♥2♣ was spread across the felt with around 500,000 in the middle already. Alex Keating checked from the big blind and Gytis Lazauninkas also checked in middle position. Rania Nasreddine tossed in a bet of 275,000 from the hijack and Keating check-raised to 950,000. Lazauninkas stepped aside but Nasreddine quickly called.
The turn was the 5♥ and Keating used a time bank before shoving all in for roughly 5,000,000 effective. Nasreddine wasted little time before calling off her stack in what turned out to be a massive pot.
Rania Nasreddine: K♥K♣
Alex Keating: 8♥6♠
Keating flopped two pair to take the lead on Nasreddine's pocket kings. The 3♠ on the river bricked out and Nasreddine looked for a payout while Keating stacked a mound of chips.
Stanislav Zegal and Leon Sturm were heads-up on a board of A♥K♠J♠8♥ when Sturm bet 300,000 from under the gun. Zegal then moved all in from the big blind.
Sturm had around 850,000 remaining and used four time banks as he considered the decision for several minutes. He eventually called off his last chips with A♠9♣, but Zegal turned over Q♣10♦ for the nut straight.
Sturm was already drawing dead by the 3♦ river as the defending champion scored the knockout.
Three players were all-in before the flop, with Santhosh Suvarna at risk for about 700,000 from the hijack, Paulius Vaitiekunas at risk for 3,090,000 in the small blind and David Peters was looking for the double knockout from the button.
Santhosh Suvarna: 8♥8♠
Paulius Vaitiekunas: K♦K♠
David Peters: Q♣Q♥
The 4♣9♦2♥5♥7♦ runout meant Vaitiekunas doubled through Peters while Suvarna headed to the payout desk.

Daniel Neilson opened to 160,000 from under the gun and was called by Harvey Jackson on the button and Sosia Jiang in the small blind. Jorge Pacheco three-bet shoved all in for 1,625,000 from the big blind which got Neilson to fold. Jackson used three time banks and then called which led to Jiang folding.
Jorge Pacheco: A♠K♥
Harvey Jackson: J♥10♥
Jackson was feeling optimistic but the flop of K♦J♣2♠ gave Pacheco the larger of the two pairs. The 9♠ on the turn gave Jackson a straight draw but the 7♣ on the river ensured Pacheco of a double up.
Johannes Straver raised to 160,000 in the cutoff and Alex Foxen called on the button. Joni Jouhkimainen three-bet to 875,000 out of the big blind and Straver four-bet ripped all in for 2,760,000. Foxen quickly folded but Jouhkimainen called after getting a count.
Johannes Straver: A♦K♦
Joni Jouhkimainen: A♥Q♠
Straver was in a dominating position but the flop of A♠Q♣5♦ gave Jouhkimainen two pair to take a commanding lead. The Q♥ on the turn improved the Finn to a full house and Straver was eliminated on the 5♠ river.
Derric Haynie and Alejandro Lococo engaged in a pre-flop raising war that ended with both players having their stacks in the middle.
Alejandro Lococo: Q♦Q♠
Derric Haynie: A♦A♣
Lococo had picked up queens in the small blind, but Haynie showed down a pair of aces in middle position. The board ran out 7♠K♦K♥5♦J♣ and Haynie secured the big pot.
The stacks were counted down and Haynie had Lococo's remaining 3,500,000 barely covered, sending the newly-crowned WSOP bracelet winner to the rail.
Anuschka Van Lent limped the cutoff and called a raise of 350,000 from Chinwei Lim on the button.
When the 8♦8♣2♣ flop hit the felt, and Lent checked it over to Lim who continued for 275,000. Lent thought about it for 25 seconds before releasing her cards.
