No Messing Around for Bedell

Level 25 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

With about 3,000,000 in the middle the flop read AK9 and Christopher Nguyen shot 700,000 into the middle from the hijack. Tom-Aksel Bedell was in the cutoff and made the call.

When the 7 fell on the turn, Nguyen continued for 1,200,000. Bedell wasted no time putting in a raise to 4,500,000 and Nguyen mucked his hand.

Late Night Drama

Level 25 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Rainer Kempe
Rainer Kempe

Roeland Peeks raised to 1,000,000 in early position and Rainer Kempe just called from the big blind. The flop came 642 and Kempe checked to Peeks who slid out a stack of chips for a bet of 7,000,000. That is when things got interesting.

Kempe noticed that there were still two extra cards beside his stack of chips that were left from the previous hand in which he shoved all in preflop and received no action.

"I'm pretty sure my hand is dead," Kempe said. "But you should call the floor."

The floor was called over and Kempe's hand was ruled dead since essentially he was deemed to have four cards.

"I've never seen this before, but it's the right ruling. I had a call, too."

Mustapha Kanit
Mustapha Kanit

Mustapha Kanit limped in from under the gun and Darius Samual raised to 1,700,000 in middle position. Kanit called and they went heads-up to the Q109 flop. Samual then moved all in and Kanit called for 2,800,000.

Mustapha Kanit: 109 All in

Pablo Melogno opened 1,050,000 under the gun and Pascal Lefrancois defended the big blind.

Both players checked to the Q727A river where fireworks exploded. Lefrancois check-raised a bet of 950,000 to 4,000,000. Melogno put in a three-bet to 15,500,000 and Lefrancois called fairly quickly.

Matthew Wantman
Matthew Wantman

It took a few preflop raises but eventually, Matthew Wantman and Georg Lehmann got all of their chips in the middle preflop with two premium holdings.

Matthew Wantman: KKAll in
Georg Lehmann: AK

The flop came 952 and Wantman's pair of kings were still safe for the time being. The 6 on the turn took away one of Lehmann's outs but he managed to find the A on the river. The stacks were counted and Wantman was barely at risk for around 13,700,000, ending his tournament near the end of Day 3.

Rainer Kempe
Rainer Kempe

Matas Cimbolas raised to 4,400,000 in early position and Ren Lin called in the cutoff. Rainer Kempe then moved all in for 5,300,000 in the small blind and both Cimbolas and Lin called.

Cimbolas checked over to Lin on the Q46 flop and Lin moved all in. Cimbolas quickly called for his last 950,000.

Rainer Kempe: AQ All in
Matas Cimbolas: A8 All in
Ren Lin: 1010

Kempe had flopped top pair to take the lead and was poised for a tripe up, while Lin had Cimbolas at risk with his tens. The A fell on the turn and Cimbolas made a pair, while Kempe improved to two pair. The river was the 8 and Kempe tripled up, while Cimbolas took the side pot off Lin.

Marcelo Aziz
Marcelo Aziz

Marcelo Aziz raised to 1,200,000 on the button and Rostyslav Nahurnyi moved all in for 2,150,000 in the big blind. Aziz could only flash a smile as he snap-called.

Rostyslav Nahurnyi: A8 All in
Marcelo Aziz: AA

Aziz had picked up aces as the KQ3 flop left Nahurnyi drawing only to running cards. He was drawing dead after the 3 turn, while the river was the A to give Aziz a full house and seal Nahurnyi's bustout.
