Level 22 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Chris Moneymaker
Chris Moneymaker

The K8710 turn was on the felt and Ermo Kosk checked it over to Chris Moneymaker who fired 2,400,000 into the pot of over 4,000,000. Kosk check-raised all in, putting Moneymaker to the test for his 9,700,000. Moneymaker made the call.

Chris Moneymaker: K9 All in
Ermo Kosk: K10

Kosk had the lead with two pair but Moneymaker had plenty of outs with an open-ended straight draw and a flush draw. The J river was one of those outs, giving him a straight to remain seated.

Level 22 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

The action folded to Jason Chau in the hijack who pushed his stack of 2,350,000 into the middle. Sirzat Hissou asked for a count and then just called, leaving the rest of the table to fold.

Jason Chau: AAAll in
Sirzat Hissou: KK

The flop came A73 and Chau flopped a set of aces to take a stranglehold on the hand. The 9 on the turn left Hissou drawing dead to the Q on the river.

Garza Windmills the Bluff

Level 22 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Ap Garza
Ap Garza

Lou Garza opened 550,000 in early position and Lewis Spencer defended the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of 842, and Spencer check-called a bet of 600,000.

The 5 fell on the turn and Spencer check-called another bet of 1,600,000.

When the Q completed the board on the river, Spencer checked for a final time and Garza announced all in. Spencer splashed a pile of time chips into the middle as he went into the tank.

After using four time bank cards, he decided to save his stack and pitched his cards into the middle.

Garza reacted by windmilling his A9 face up into the center of the table as he pulled in the pot.

Also building a massive stack at the same table is Sebastian Toro with 29,000,000.

Samual Scores a Double Knockout

Level 22 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Alex Keating was first to act and ripped all in for his last 2,500,000 chips from under the gun. Dzmitry Urbanovich also pushed all in for around 3,000,000 in the hijack. Darius Samual was waiting on the button and flicked in a call to put both players at risk.

Dzmitry Urbanovich: 99All in
Darius Samual: KK

The flop fell 872 and Samual was left holding the best hand and the best flush draw. The 8 on the turn meant Keating was eliminated and the 10 on the river also eliminated Urbanovich.

Matas Cimbolas
Matas Cimbolas

Lewis Spencer raised to 500,000 on the button and Matas Cimbolas three-bet to 1,350,000 in the small blind. Spencer then moved all in for 3,800,000 and Cimbolas snap-called.

Lewis Spencer: AK All in
Matas Cimbolas: QQ

"Wow, standard. Who's going to win six million? Whoever wins this is going to win the tournament," Cimbolas said, as the flop came Q55, giving him a full house.

Spencer was already up from his seat and heading for the exit, but had to be called back once the A fell on the turn to give him some outs. The river was the 7 and Cimbolas took the pot to send Spencer walking back to the payout desk.

"Did I really say whoever wins this pot is going to win the tournament?" Cimbolas asked after the hand.

"You're 50-50 to win it now," tablemate Chris Klodnicki added.

Stephen Chidwick

A completed board of 986510 was spread across the felt in what turned out to be a massive hand between Stephen Chidwick and Troy Quenneville. Chidwick had the QQ face up in front of him while Quenneville held KK and the best hand.

It was unsure as to when all of the chips got in the middle, but the stacks were counted and Chidwick was deemed to be the player at risk for around 12,500,000. Quenneville collected the chips and joined the leaders near the top of the leaderboard.

The 6 turn was checked through to see the 9 on the river where Eibinger led for 875,000. Melogno took a few seconds and tossed in a call.
