Battle of the Blinds

Level 4 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Tom Fuchs limped the small blind and called a raise of 23,000 from Lucas Greenwood in the big blind.

Both players checked to the 8528K river, where Fuchs checked once more. Greenwood paused for about 10 seconds and fired 36,000 into the middle. Fuchs made the call to see the bad news as Greenwood tabled K7 two pair, kings and eights, before Fuchs mucked his hand.

Kornuth Shoves Out Kogel

Level 5 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Chance Kornuth and Nathanael Kogel built a big pot of around 250,000 as they went heads up to the 876 flop. Kogel then bet 55,000 from middle position.

Kornuth came back with an all-in shove for 523,000 in the big blind, sending Kogel deep into the tank. "Tell me what the turn is," he joked with the dealer as he continued muttering to himself for several minutes before sliding his cards into the muck.

"You folded some equity, it feels like. Jack-nine suited or something?" Kornuth asked as he took down the pot.

Mr. Moon Makes the Right Call

Level 5 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The ever-entertaining Dongwuk Moon, or "Mr.Moon," opened the hijack and was called by Nikita Kalinin in the small blind and Audrius Stakelis in the big blind.

On the 986 flop, Moon continued for 26,000 and only Kalinin put in the call.

The J turn checked through to the Q river which saw Kalinin lead for 80,000. Moon was uncomfortable on such a dangerous board but he decided to put in the call after some deliberation.

Nikitia Kalinin: 76
Dongwuk Moon: KK

Moon's overpair was good as he made the correct call on the river to collect a sizeable pot.
