On the K83 flop, Volfson continued for 35,000 before Iakovlev raised to 80,000. Volfson responded with a three-bet jam as the covering stack for 286,000 effective and Iakovlev snapped it off.

Joseph Cheong
Joseph Cheong

Joseph Cheong opened 16,000 in the hijack and both Kyle Carlston and Thomas Muehloecker came along in the blinds.

The dealer fanned a flop of J44, and all three players checked to the 8 turn. Carlston casually tossed a 25,000 chip across the line, forcing Muehloecker to fold but Cheong stuck around with a call.

The board completed with the K on the river and Carlston continued for 75,000. Cheong took a bit longer this time, but eventually made the call.

Carlston rolled 98 for eights and fours but it was no good as Cheong tabled J10 for jacks-up to drag the pot.
