Holz Rivers a Jack

Level 9 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Byron Kaverman opened 40,000 in the hijack before Fedor Holz three-bet 120,000 on the button. The action quickly folded back to Kaverman and he made the call.

The dealer spread a flop of 654, and Kaverman tapped the table. Holz thought about it for about 30 seconds before doing the same. When the K fell on the turn, Kaverman checked again. This time Holz took about a minute before deciding to check.

The J completed the board on the river and Kaverman checked for a final time. Holz eventually checked-back to see the AQ of Kaverman before tabling AJ for a pair of jacks on the river.
