Santhosh Suvarna opened the hijack to 20,000 before Mario Mosbock three-bet to 75,000 from the small blind and Suvarna snap-called.

On the QJ8 flop, Mosbock took some time before he elected to jam for 240,000 into a pot of 170,000 and Suvarna snapped it off.

Health > Wealth: Texas Mike Questions Stamina After “4-Bet Jam Nuclear Punt” in $100K

Level 6 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

What is a player to do when they love tournament poker, their mind allows them to compete against the best of the best, but their body doesn’t want to cooperate? That’s a question “Texas” Mike Moncek, who suffers from a heart condition, asked himself Wednesday night after playing in the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise Event #7: $100,000 Triton Main Event.

The tournament, which is being live reported by PokerNews, attracted 182 entrants and offered up an $18,200,000 prize pool. On Day 2, a little over 40 players remained when Texas Mike, in his own words, “punted.”

Binder Takes from Ausmus

Level 7 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Bernhard Binder opened 25,000 in the hijack and Jeremy Ausmus three-bet 75,000 next to act. The action folded back around to Binder and he made the call.

When the K64 flop hit the felt, Binder check-called a continuation bet of 50,000 from Ausmus.

The J fell on the turn and once checked to, Ausmus fired another shell of 175,000. Binder took a few moments and matched the bet.

The K paired the board on the river and Binder checked once again. Ausmus paused for a moment before deciding to check-back. Binder rolled AJ for jacks and kings with an ace-kicker and Ausmus mucked his hand.

Erik Seidel

Erik Seidel raised to 27,000 in middle position and Waikiat Lee reraised to 100,000 out of the small blind. Seidel called and the dealer fanned the flop of J87. Lee continued with a bet of 40,000 and Seidel just called.

The turn was the Q and Lee fired out another bet of 130,000. Seidel still called and the K completed the board. Lee dropped in a bet of 325,000 and Seidel quickly looked him up. Lee turned over KK for top set while Seidel held JJ for an inferior set of jacks.
