Dimov Wins a Flip

Dan Stavila opened to 16,000 from the hijack and Darren Elias slid in a call from the cutoff. Dietrich Fast then came along on the button before Ognyan Dimov announced all in from the big blind for 330,000.

Stavila took some time before shoving his stack into the middle, with Elias and Fast getting out of the way.

Mauricio Salazar Sanchez raised to 18,000 in middle position and Jonathan Newman defended from the big blind. The flop came Q♣8♣5♣ and Newman check-called a bet of 15,000 from Salazar Sanchez.

The 5♠ paired the board on the turn and Newman led out with a bet of 20,000. Salazar Sanchez called and the 9♦ rolled off on the river. Newman slid out a bet of 100,000 and Salazar Sanchez slid out of contention.

Jon Vallinas opened 18,000 under the gun and he received calls from Keiji Kimura on his left and Trevor McMichael from the big blind.

All three players checked to the A♠8♦7♣9♦ turn, where McMichael led for 30,000. Vallinas put in a raise to 135,000 and that was enough to earn the pot as both Kimura and McMichael pitched their cards into the muck.

There was a raise to 16,000 in middle position and Marc Rivera three-bet on the button. Luigi Soncin four-bet jammed all in for a little over 200,000 from the small blind. Joergen Lund woke up with a hand in the big blind and also ripped all in. The action was back on Rivera, who quickly called off his stack of 394,000 and all three hands were tabled.

In a heads-up pot on a board of 6♦4♣10♠Jx, Tomas Kubaliak checked from the big blind and Alex Kulev bet 75,000 from early position. Kubaliak called.

Kubaliak checked again on the 2♣ river and Kulev checked back. Kubaliak showed K♦10♣ for a pair of tens, but it was no good against the pair of jacks of his opponent with J♠9♠.

Afriat Puts Kanit to the Test

Action was four-way before Mustapha Kanit fired 20,000 from under the gun on the J♦Q♠K♥ board. Eric Afriat was the only caller in the hijack, as the two players saw the 5♦ turn flipped over.

Kanit led out again for 80,000, only to see Afriat announce a raise to 210,000. After taking some time, Kanit called and the dealer revealed the 8♣ river.

After Kanit checked, Afriat bet 225,000. Kanit took some more time before opting to lay it down.

Kenney's River Bluff Gets Picked Off

Ebony Kenney opened 20,000 on the button and called a three-bet of 61,000 from Quan Zhou in the small blind.

When the K♠5♣2♠ flop hit the felt, Zhou continued for 31,000 and Kenney called. The K♣ turn was checked through to see the Q♥ on the river.

Zhou checked once again before facing a bet of 70,000 from Kenney. After only a couple of seconds, he tossed in the call. Kenny rolled 10♠9♠ for a busted flush draw and Zhou took down the pot with 8♥5♥.
