Jonathan Jaffe

Alessio La Francesca opened to 25,000 in middle position and Manuel Fischer called in the hijack. Erik Seidel tossed in a call on the button, as did Jonathan Jaffe in the small blind.

Anatoly Zlotnikov took some time in the big blind before announcing all in. Action quickly folded back to Jaffe, who asked for a count. The dealer stacked up 970,000 chips, and Jaffe took a moment before sticking in the call.

Anatoly Zlotnikov: 33 All in
Jonathan Jaffe: 88

Jaffe's pocket eights were well ahead and held through the J10KA7 runout to send Zlotnikov to the rail.

Engelien Shows Fernandez Just Enough

Level 8 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The turn brought the 4 and Fernandez checked again. Engelien counted out a bet of 40,000 and Fernandez stuck around for the A on the river. Fernandez checked for the third time and Engelien slid out a stack, enough to put Fernandez to the test for his remaining 111,000 chips.
