Yin Doubles Through Lee

Level 17 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

The action folded to Sunghak Lee in the small blind and he opted to move all-in only for Yuzhou Yin to call.

Yuzhou Yin: 88
Sunghak Lee: 66

Both players had found pocket pairs and Yin was ahead. That lead was cemented with the 1083 flop as Lee now needed running cards to avoid a major setback. Yin had nothing to fear anymore on the 2 turn and the 4 river was just a formality.

The double of Yin was for 1,980,000 and cut the stack of Lee into more than half.

Moon Hero-Calls Correctly Against Martirosian

Level 16 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Dongwuk Moon
Dongwuk Moon

Dongwuk Moon raised for Sunghak Lee in the big blind to call. Lee check-called the K64 flop for 120,000 before they checked down the 9 turn and 7 river. Lee tabled the A6 and won the pot.

Artur Martirosian then raised to 160,000 and Moon defended the big blind. Moon check-raised the K83 flop from 110,000 to 330,000 and won the pot uncontested.

Martirosian won the blinds and ante with a min-raise, then defended the big blind against Moon's min-raise on the button. The Q87 flop was checked by Martirosian, Moon bet 180,000 and the call of the chip leader followed.

The A turn was checked and Martirosian bet the 2 river for 800,000. Moon then went into an atypical tank and called after two minutes.

"You win," Martirosian declared and revealed 109 for a busted straight draw. Moon won the pot with the K10 and that resulted in some gasps by the other players.
