Oganyan Goes Thin

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Aram Oganyan opened in early position to 3,000 before the action was on Felipe Ramos in the big blind who defended.

The 106Q flop landed and the action checked to Oganyan who continued for 1,500. Ramos called.

The A landed on the turn and action slowed down and checked through to an 8 river.

Ramos checked one more time and Oganyan wasted little time before putting out about a pot-sized bet of 7,500.

Ramos went into the tank and eventually put in one chip for a call. Oganyan tabled QJ for second pair and Ramos mucked.

Haxton Eliminated Once More

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Isaac Haxton three-bet to 12,500 and then faced the all-in of Mitchell Foster for 68,700. A brief tank by Haxton followed and he then called with nearly the same stack.

Isaac Haxton: AQ
Mitchell Foster: JJ

The K105 flop gave Haxton a gutshot on top but he bricked it all on the 3 turn as well as 9 river.

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Upon completion of level nine, the 631-entry strong field has been cut into nearly half with some 360 players remaining. They are now on a 75-minute dinner break until approximately 8.35 p.m. local time and the T-100 chips will be raced off during that time as well.

Once the cards go back in the air for level ten, the late registration for the last regular heat will close.

Accused Private Poker Game Cheater: "I Didn't Bring Any Cards Anywhere"

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

One day after being accused of cheating a California home game out of millions, Tony Mars issued a statement to PokerNews denying the allegations.

Wesley Fei and Nikhil "Nik Airball" Arcot, both Hustler Casino Live regulars, claim that Mars, who also plays on HCL, brought a special UV-marked deck that allowed him to decipher face-down cards.

The alleged scandal occurred in a game at a private residence in Yorba Linda, California, a community in Orange County.
