D'Alessandro Shows Khan the Nuts

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

With 130,000 in the middle to the J628Q river, David D'Alessandro pushed all-in and that sent Michael Khan into the tank. It took more than three minutes and another player at the table then called the clock on Khan.

Thirty seconds ran down and Khan folded, D'Alessandro then grabbed his cards and flashed the A8 for the nut flush.

"Who called the clock?" D'Alessandro inquired to make sure letting know Khan it had not been him.

"I had kings with the king of clubs," Khan remarked in table chat.

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Sunghak Lee raised to 6,000 and Jeremy Izquierdo called from the next seat over before Thomas Muehloecker shoved 35,500 from the seat after that. Timothy Adams came in with more from late position before Shaun Deeb jammed his last 75,000 from the button. Lee and Izquierdo got out of the way and action was three ways with Deeb and Muehloecker at risk.

Thomas Muehloecker: AQ
Shaun Deeb: AK
Timothy Adams: JJ

The board ran out 657J7 and Adams rivered jacks full of sevens to take both players out.

Two Seat Open on Table 11

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Edward Franklin got his chips in with the dominated 88 and had a mountain to climb, as Anton Smirnov tabled the QQ.

The AQ6 flop left Franklin on very thin ice and it was all over with the 7 turn and 10 river.

Shortly thereafter, Justin Bonomo was spotted on his way out of the same table as well. His cards were mucked already and the pot was shipped to Brazil's Jorge Ribeiro, who claimed the pot with the K7. According to Nicholas Unaro, Bonomo had defended the 6x5x and flopped an open-ended straight draw on 1074. The 6 turn gave Bonomo an inferior pair and the 2 river was a blank.

Teusl Gets Her Wish Granted

Elky

A few hands ago, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier had jammed a short stack from early position and Terence Kluczkowski folded the 66 face-up when in the big blind, Grospellier flashed ace-king.

"Whenever I get a bad beat on GG, I see your face ... I really want to take your chips," Jessica Teusl joked in table chat then.

Soon after, Grospellier jammed for 45,000 with the 33 and Teusl looked him up with the 77.

The Q55AJ board provided no help to the dominated pair and Teusl had her wish granted almost immediately.
