Stavila Wins Big Pot Without Showdown

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A large pot was brewing between Robert Worrix and Dan Stavila with the board showing 992JJ. Some 65,000 were in the middle and Worrix had faced the all-in of Stavila with slightly more than the starting stack behind.

They went back and forth in table chat and ultimately the clock was called on Worrix, who tank-folded when the thirty seconds ran down.

"I miss-click-called preflop," Stavila admitted but didn't show any of his cards.

Vuzem Claims Another Victim

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Heads-up to the KJ1039 river with around 46,000 in the middle, Eran Soffer had 15,000 behind. He faced the bet of 30,000 by big stack Marko Vuzem and went deep into the tank, desperately trying to get any information out of his opponent.

The tank went so long that the clock was called on Soffer, who called it off in the very last second of his 30-second countdown.

Vuzem tabled KQ for the straight and Soffer mucked the JJ before heading out of the tournament area.
