Stavila Vanishes; Revah Soars to Massive Stack

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Dan Stavila
Dan Stavila

In a pot of around 60,000 to the 65437 river, Eyal Revah over-bet 90,000 and that sent Dan Stavila into the tank. With a stack of around 360,000 behind, Stavila pondered about his move while Revah kept talking like he had done pretty much the entire day already.

Suddenly, Stavila announced all-in and Revah snapped him off to instantly show his A9 for the ace-high flush.

Stavila grabbed his cards and placed them right on top of the muck before heading out of the tournament area.

He would later tell friends that he called with the K8 for the king-high flush, though that cannot be verified.

Strazisar Eliminated by Linde

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Jan Strazisar
Jan Strazisar

Jan Strazisar open-jammed for 45,000 in an early position and his previous nemesis Emilien Pitavy on the button asked for an exact count, then folded. Mir Gaskari let go in the small blind and Dylan Linde then instantly called out of the big blind.

Jan Strazisar: 44
Dylan Linde: AQ

The Q93 flop gave Linde the lead and Strazisar already gathered his belongings. Nothing changed on the 3 turn and 10 river to send Strazisar to the rail.

Zobian Wins Showdown Pot to Boost Stack

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On a completed board of J98KJ, the small blind checked and Aram Zobian bet 89,000 into a pot of what appeared to be around 116,000. Tom-Aksel Bedell quickly called from two seats over and the small blind reluctantly folded.

Zobian tabled the Q10 for the king-high straight and Bedell nodded, tapped the table in defeat and flashed just the 10.

"Ten seven?" Zobian inquired but the second card was never revealed.

Their table broke soon after to balance the shrinking field, which is now down to just 108 hopefuls.

Dono Almost Done for the Day

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

In a big preflop flip, Jon Santos was all-in against Luis Dono and it was the most classic of coin flips that unfolded as follows.

Jon Santos: AK
Luis Dono: QQ

The 1033 flop and 8 turn were no threat for Dono but the A river put a massive dagger into his stack.

Soon after that, Dono was involved in a battle of the blinds with Alexandra Botez. They were on the AQ10J4 river on which Botez led for 30,000 in the small blind. Dono tanked and the clock was called on him. With three seconds remaining, Dono sigh-called and mucked when Botez revealed K9 for broadway.

The same table also features Misael Iadisernia, the son of Giuseppe Iadisernia who has been eliminated and now watches from the nearby rail.
