Poirier and Andreanoff Among Big Stacks

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Francis Poirier three-bet to 20,400 after a min-raise and it was not necessarily clear if that had been a missclick or on purpose. Soon after, he opened with a standard size of 1,300. Stoyan Obreshkov three-bet to 4,600 only for Gavin Andreanoff to then make it 10,000 to go in the next seat.

Poirier folded and Obreshkov came to the same conclusion.

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Rene Majed
Rene Majed

With two players seeing a board of 73Q5 and roughly 25,000 already in the middle, Martin Raus bet 15,500 from the big blind and Rene Majed called from middle position.

Raus fired again for 26,500 on the 6 river and once again Majed made the call. Raus could only show 22 for a small pocket pair turned into a bluff while Majed tabled AQ for top pair, top kicker to take down a sizable pot.

Yotsushika From the Top Rope

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Kazuhiko Yotsushika opened in middle position to 1,000 before Giovanni Paticchio three-bet to 5,000 from the cutoff. It folded back to Yotsushika who called and they were off to see three.

The Q37 flop landed and the action checked over to Paticchio who continued for 7,000. Yotsushika called.

The 7 rolled off on the turn and it checked to Paticchio who put out another bet of 11,500. Then without skipping a beat Yotsushika snap-jammed all in having Paticchio covered.

Paticchio seemed to be in a tough spot and after a bit of tanking he mucked. Yotsushika dragged the pot and has a healthy stack going into the middle of the day.

The flop came 986 and Silva lead out with a bet of 2,500. Foxen called, Fransico folded and Jordana called.

Silva fired again for 3,500 on the 10 turn. Foxen raised to 15,500, forcing Jordana out of the pot and sending Silva briefly into the tank.

After about a minute Silva folded the 7 face up for the third-nuts and Foxen took down a nice pot without showdown.

No One Loses When No One Wins

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

The player under the gun raised to 1,800 only to see Phil Nagy come in for a three-bet to 5,100 from middle position. Action folded to Rafael Costa in the small blind who put in the four-bet jam for 19,200. The under-the-gun player folded quickly but Nagy was far less ready to release his hand, eventually deciding to put in the call placing Costa at risk with five cards to come.

Rafael Costa: 1010
Phillip Nagy: AQ

The 867 flop kept Costa well in the lead with the 5 turn card changing very little aside from putting a straight draw on the board but when the 4 river came, the board completed with a straight and the players chopped the pot.
