Hands #38-42: "Are We even now?"

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Hand #38: Phil Hellmuth raised to 11,000 from the button and got the blinds and antes.

Hand #39: Alexander Antonios raised from the button and Yu Kurita defended her big blind. On the {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} flop, Kurita check-called a bet of 8,500 and both checked the {2-Spades} on the turn. Kurita then bet 16,000 after the {2-Hearts} appeared as final community card and Antonios quickly got out of the way.

Hand #40: Hellmuth raised to 11,000 from under the gun and Steven Zhou called in the big blind. The {3-Clubs} {5-Spades} {A-Clubs} flop triggered no action and Zhou then bet 11,000 on the {8-Clubs} turn. Hellmuth called and ended up folding the {2-Diamonds} on the river when Zhou fired 22,000.

Hand #41: Michael Tran raised to 8,500 and Hellmuth defended his big blind. On the {8-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} flop, Hellmuth check-called 10,000 and the {2-Hearts} turn was checked by both. On the {6-Hearts} river, Hellmuth bet 6,000 and Tran laughed out loudly, grabbing the chips and then pretty much handing it over to Hellmuth. The latter showed {10-Clubs} {8-Hearts} and that won the pot. "Are we even now?", Tran joked.

Hand #42: Antonios raised the button and Kurita called in the big blind to check down the {6-Hearts} {A-Hearts} {6-Clubs} flop and the {7-Clubs} on the turn. There was no action either after the {3-Hearts} river and Kurita claimed the pot with {K-Hearts} {J-Clubs}.
