Hortin With Heaps

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

It was back-to-back hands for Dylan Hortin that got him up to one of the biggest stacks right now. We missed the first one, but in the second hand he raised to 1,400 from under the gun and called a three-bet to 3,700. On the {6-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} {4-Clubs} flop, Hortin check-called a bet of 5,200 and then bet 6,300 on the {10-Hearts} turn.

His opponent moved all in for what looked like 18,000 and Hortin looked him up with the {A-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}. He was shown {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} and claimed a nice pot after the {J-Hearts} river completed the board.
