Fundaro Continues to Dominate

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante
Giacomo Fundaro
Giacomo Fundaro

WPT champion Giacomo Fundaro is the chip leader on his table and took care of a short stack a few minutes ago. According to Ismael Bojang, the Italian raised from the button and then called the all in of the short stack from one seat over for approximately 2,000 in chips with {A-Spades} {10-Spades}.

He faced {A-Hearts} {5-Hearts} and the {10-Clubs} {10-Hearts} {4-Hearts} flop gave him trips whereas the opponent found a flush draw. To make sure that there is no suckout, Fundaro improved further with the {10-Diamonds} on the turn and he was guaranteed to claim the chips.

The last hand we saw Fundaro in a three-way hand to the {7-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} flop, where the player in the big blind as well as the Italian committed further chips. Timo Pfützenreuter folded and both remaining players checked the {A-Diamonds} on the turn. Fundaro seized control with a bet of 700 after the {3-Hearts} river and that was enough to avoid a showdown.
