Rousso Gets There

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

After a great start with the double up in the very first hand, Vanessa Rousso "hit a hundred middle pairs that were no good" when we caught up with her during the break. She lost some more chips in the previous 20 minutes and saw a three-way hand to the {Q-Spades} {A-Spades} {4-Spades} flop.

Scott Clements checked out of the small blind and the player on the cutoff bet 475. Rousso moved all in for 1,575 and Clements folded, her opponent tank-called with the {A-Hearts} {6-Diamonds}. Rousso was behind with {Q-Diamonds} {10-Spades} but had plenty of outs to improve. The {10-Clubs} on the turn was one of those cards and the {7-Clubs} on the river got her back above starting stack.
